Supported input formats

Greenhouse Analyst

Supported: UTF-8 CSV with unique headers, or JSON arrays of scalar row objects. Choose source columns in the mapping form. The format is vendor-independent but explicit: no automatic AC Infinity connection, no XLSX, PDF, lux conversion or document extraction.

Required per row: timestamp with a UTC offset, site and zone (or a confirmed constant). Map one or more of air temperature (C/F), relative humidity (%/fraction), PPFD (umol/m2/s), CO₂ (ppm), leaf temperature (C/F). Optional source ID, method, ingestion timestamp and crop note preserve context. One unit and evidence kind apply to a file; split mixed files first.

Irrigation rows require event-start timestamp, site, zone and runtime (s/min). Optional flow_l_min is an explicit estimate assumption. The web interface does not infer history completeness. CLI requests can include coverage declarations with site, zone, start, end and complete:true. Runtime describes logged activity only.

Limits: 5 MiB, 20,000 rows, 100 columns, 20,000 characters per field, 200 sensor series and a 366-day analysis window. Web calculation stops after 10 seconds. Timestamps without offsets are rejected so daylight-saving ambiguity is resolved before calculation.

Temperature ingestion range −40 to 60 C, RH 0–100%, PPFD 0–4000 umol/m²/s, CO₂ 0–20,000 ppm. These are software screening limits, not crop targets. Vapor calculations use the FAO liquid-water approximation only for 0–50 C air temperatures. Dew point below freezing is not frost point.

Calculation method

Adjacent valid readings are interpolated linearly and integrated by the trapezoid rule only up to the selected maximum gap. There is no extrapolation at either endpoint. Coverage is observed duration divided by the requested duration. Report dates use UTC. A partial-day total is not full-day DLI.

VPD uses FAO-56 chapter 3: saturation pressure = 0.6108 exp(17.27T/(T+237.3)); actual pressure uses the supplied RH. Dew point inverts that equation. Leaf VPD requires supplied leaf temperature. These calculations do not identify disease or reconstruct airflow.
